Opening of third DIY store in Bulgaria

Yesterday saw the official opening in Varna of Praktiker's third DIY superstore in Bulgaria. Available on the floorspace of 5 500 m² is a full range of more than 50 000 items, 90 per cent of them sourced from domestic suppliers. The focus is on the categories of machinery and tools, automotive and bikes, building materials, wood, bathroom and decorating accessories, and garden products as well. Praktiker considers that the sales opportunities in Bulgaria are excellent: today 96 per cent of households here are home-owners, and there is a great need for products to renovate and modernise them.
