Inclusion of garden segment for the first time

Practical World Asia/CIHS is to be expanded by the addition of a World of Gardening segment. Much in demand in China, according to a communication from organisers Koelnmesse, are products such as nursery stock, lighting, irrigation and pond technology, as well as garden structures. A total of 1 500 exhibitors are expected to participate in the four fair segments: World of Tools, World of Security, Locks and Fittings, World of Home Improvement/DIY, and World of Gardening. The gross exhibition space is expected to amount to 56 000 m². The fair will be held in Shanghai from 11 to 13 October 2005.
