Saint-Gobain purchases the Norwegian Optimera group

The building supplies division of the French group Saint-Gobain has acquired the Norwegian builders' merchant Optimera Gruppen AS through its Scandinavian holding company, Saint-Gobain Nordic. Last year Optimera achieved sales of NOK 4.3 bn (€ 514 mio) last year. The company operates 95 outlets in Norway and 14 in Sweden under the Montér and Optimera brand names. The competition authorities still have to agree to the acquisition.
