A Hungarian retailer is due to become a member of Hagebau Austria during this current year. Overall Hagebau is currently four per cent down in the first five months
Hagebau's annual meeting of partners was held in Vienna, outside Germany for the first time, on the occasion of Hagebau Austria's tenth anniversary. The speech made by chairman Rolf J. Wertheimer focused on the possibilities for Hagebau's expansion abroad. A "notable" Hungarian retailer is expected to become a member of Hagebau Austria by the end of the year 2005.
What is more, the figures for the first five months of this year were announced. They show that Hagebau is 4.4 per cent below last year's results. By contrast, Hagebau Austria succeeded in increasing sales by 2.9 per cent over the same period.
