Expanding in Latvia

The Finnish DIY and builders’ merchant chain Rautakesko has opened two new DIY stores in Riga, Latvia, with sales areas of 14 000 m2 (Lucavsala) and 15 000 m2 (Ulmana) respectively. Hitherto the company operated one outlet (10 000 m2) in Latvia. Rautakesko plans to open two to three new stores a year, with the aim of creating a network of 30 stores in the near future.
