Takeover in the German garden sector

Brill, the German manufacturer of garden appliances, has acquired the Gloria subsidiary Gloria Haus- und Gartengeräte with retrospective effect from 1 January 2005. The two brands are to be retained, with Brill being accentuated more as the brand for lawn care and garden trimming and Gloria for plant care, shredding/chipping and compost-making.
