New responsibilities

Ian Cheshire, previously Chief Executive, Commercial and Development, has been appointed Chief Executive of B&Q. Rob Cissell, previously Chief Executive of B&Q, becomes Chief Executive, Commercial and Development. In this role he will be responsible for the continuing development of the Strategic Supplier Management programme and for private label development. He replaces George Adams, who has responsibility for developing Kingfisher's new trade format for the UK market as Chief Executive UK Trade.
