The Mr. Bricolage Group has announced a 0.4 decline in gross sales to € 374.4 mio for the first quarter. Whereas the Mr. Bricolage channel, with sales of € 345.5 mio, did at least succeed in maintaining the previous year's level (+0.1 per cent, -0.1 per cent like-for-like), Catena experienced a drop of 4.7 per cent to € 29 mio. However, it also experienced a 5 000 m² reduction in retail area in the first quarter, resulting in a new total of 103 000 m².
