Relocation to Cologne

Toomaxx, the cooperative buying organisation comprising Baumax, Rewe, AVA and Coop (Switzerland), is moving from Klosterneuburg near Vienna to Cologne. According to a press release, the plan is to set up a new organisational structure in order to make better use of synergistic effects. It is intended to broaden the basis of range synergies, with regard to branded goods and starter-price products as well, in addition to the existing joint development of private labels and import activities. The partners in this cooperation are aiming for a broader harmonisation of ranges and suppliers.
