Profit for Homebase

The UK DIY chain Homebase concluded the financial year (to 28 Feburary 2005) with sales up by six per cent over the previous year. That translated into a sales increase of three per cent in like-for-like terms. Following nine new openings, Homebase had 287 stores at the end of the financial year, 111 of them (67 the previous year) with a mezzanine floor.
