The French DIY cooperative group announces like-for-like sales growth of 3.7 per cent

The French DIY cooperative group Bricomarché achieved gross sales of € 1.75 bn in the 2004 business year. A figure of 3.7 per cent is put on like-for-like growth. At the end of 2004 the voluntary group numbered a total of 580 outlets. Of these, 511 stores were operating under the Bricomarché logo, 463 of them in France. The stores in this format range in size from 1 500 m² to 2 300 m². There were 69 stores in France under the Logimarché banner (neighbourhood suppliers of 540 m² and 800 m²).
