Gabler petitions for insolvency

The company, Gabler Gewächshausbau GmbH & Co. KG of Schorndorf, petitioned for the opening of insolvency proceedings on 24 March 2005. The company says that the underlying economic conditions for the greenhouse sector saw yet another dramatic worsening at the beginning of this year. Gabler's workforce has already over the past five years been reduced from more than 200 to less than 100 employees.
