Change at the top

Michael Christiansen (40) took over as the president of Danish DIY chain Silvan on 1 March. He succeeds Eric Schou (58), who occupied the post for more than 15 years and who intends to tackle new challenges outside the industry prior to retiring. Michael Christiansen has been a member of the executive board since 1996 and was previously responsible for purchasing. This responsibility will be assumed by Peter Lonnebjerg (41) with effect from 1 May.
