Four new exhibition halls

Four new exhibition halls are to be constructed at the Koelnmesse fairgrounds by the end of 2005. The future Northern Halls will offer roughly 80 000 m2 of exhibition space and thus provide an equivalent area to the “Rheinhallen” that they will replace. Following the rebuilding work the halls will be renumbered. The International Hardware Fair with its two segments, tools on the one hand and security systems, locks and fittings on the other, will occupy the future, modernised Southern Halls. Practical World will be moving to the Northern Halls, along with the World of Home Improvement/DIY.
