The signs are pointing to growth in most of the eleven DIY markets looked at by Observateur Cetelem

In its 2005 consumer survey, French market research company Observateur Cetelem has also taken a close look at the DIY sector in eleven European countries. The Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia were included for the first time. As in 2003, the market researchers found that the market had grown in almost every country in 2004.  The Germans spent most on DIY products in 2004 (€ 899), followed by the UK (€ 874) and Belgium (€ 756).
Further information and figures on the market trend in the eleven countries studied can be found in our DIYglobal plus/Countries + markets section. (See under: Further articles on this topic)
