Expectations not met

The first Canadian hardware and DIY trade show with the new name H2X took place in tandem with the D2X Décor + Design Expo in Toronto’s Congress centre from 19 to 22 February. The four days of the show attracted 148 exhibitors and just 1 787 visitors, and both organisers and exhibitors bemoaned the poor visitor attendance. The Canadian Hardware and DIY show was taken over last year by Messe Frankfurt following the withdrawal of the Canadian Hardware Association as organiser and main sponsor.
