The French DIY store group Bricorama increased its overall sales in fiscal 2004 by 7.96 per cent to € 612.13 mio. Like-for-like sales increased by 3.15 per cent. In the fourth quarter, sales grew by 9.5 per cent compared with 2003 (like-for-like 2.7 per cent). At the end of the financial year the group had 135 stores, including 80 in France, 36 in Belgium (Gamma), 18 in Holland (Karwei) and one outlet in Spain. The total sales area increased by 5.5 per cent to 438 000 m2. There are also 28 franchise stores in France.
