Increased international presence

IPM, the International Plant Fair, ended in Essen on 30 January after a four-day run. The mood among exhibitors and visitors was good, but the event was marked by a slight decline in attendance figures. Visitors came to Essen from 50 different countries, 59 300 of them in total, or three per cent fewer than a year ago. The international spread has again seen a slight increase: around 26 per cent of the trade visitors came from outside Germany.
