Commitment to the FSC

B&Q, the largest DIY retailer in the United Kingdom, has once again confirmed its long-standing belief in the credibility of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) system. Recently B&Q signed a contract with the certification body Smartwood to certify key stores to the FSC’s chain of custody standards. This puts B&Q in the position of being able to supply material to certified contractors for FSC projects and so contribute to completing the entire traceable product chain. In the opinion of the certifying body, this means that B&Q is now setting a high standard for all retailers worldwide.
