Good response

It was for the 24th time that DIY was staged in Kortrijk between 30 January and 1 February. In spite of the increasing amount of concentration within the industry, a total of 5 004 trade visitors registered during the three days of the fair, compared with 5 077 for the last event. Representing the categories of decoration, timber/building materials, plumbing, hardware, electrical and garden, 192 exhibitors were there to present their newest products and the latest trends. The “Stars in the Box” competition for new products, organised for the first time, proved to be a special attraction. The jury of experts awarded their prize to Verbon for its “Levica” system for the renovation of radiators. The prize decided by fair visitors went to Gardena’s “Easymove 38 E” steerable lawnmower.
