IPM: Optimism at the start

The International Plant Fair, IPM, got off to a good start yesterday in Essen with plenty of visitors. Many of the exhibitors appeared satisfied with the first day of the fair. When it came to manufacturers’ expectations for the coming season, guarded optimism was definitely in the air. Until Sunday the 1 400 fair exhibitors from 40 countries will be displaying their products on a floorspace of 110 000 m². Last year’s event recorded 1 359 exhibitors and 61 200 trade visitors.
