Home Depot expects sales growth of between 9 and 12 per cent for this year

Home Depot expects sales growth of between 9 and 12 per cent for 2005. An increase of 4 to 7 per cent is expected in comparable store sales. A sum of US $ 3.7 bn is being allocated for new openings – there are plans for 175 stores – and the modernisation of existing outlets. The company’s planning schedule for 2005 also includes expansion of the assortment of storage and organisation products.
