In February 2003, compared to February 2002, the volume of retail trade increased by 0.7 per cent in the euro-zone and by 1.3 per cent in the EU15, Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities in Luxembourg, estimates today. Compared to January 2003, sales fell by 0.8 per cent in the euro-zone and by 0.6 per cent in the EU15.
