Plans for China

Leroy Merlin intends to open around 20 large-format DIY stores throughout China over the next four years. Taking the north of the country as its starting point, the French company has made the market in Peking its strategic goal. Here it intends to operate ten outlets eventually. Since 2001 Leroy Merlin has had an office in the capital, complete with a team consisting of both French and Chinese members that is working on the development of DIY store locations.
