Art from the DIY store

DIY 2003 in Kortrijk between 26 and 28 January “broke all records”, according to the organisers. The number of visitors went up by 15 per cent to almost 5 000. Around 180 exhibitors displayed their wares there, covering the product categories of decorating, timber and construction, plumbing, hardware, tools, electrical and gardening. The Art & DIY competition, held for the first time as part of the fair programme, offered two prizes for works of art created using DIY material.
