The British Focus Wickes Group is bringing together its two trading formats in a new Showroom concept, which has opened within a Focus store at Market Harborough in the east of England. This features 20 roomsets and kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and conservatory ranges. The format is designed to introduce the Wickes ranges tending towards heavier DIY into Focus stores, which have a stronger emphasis on home enhancement. The Showroom concept is to be trialed in other outlets as well. There will be a detailed report on the subject in the next issue of our specialist magazine DIY in Europe.
