Growing commercial division

The building materials division of the French Saint Gobain group is expected to record sales growth of 4.7 per cent to € 10.5 bn in 2002. This amounts to an increase of two per cent on a comparable basis, or 2.8 per cent after currency adjustment. Operating profits rose by ten per cent to € 539 mio.
