Wienerberger up on the tiles

Wienerberger has acquired 50 per cent of the clay roof tile business belonging to Koramic Building Products of Belgium, and intends to take over the remaining 50 per cent in the mid-term. The building materials group wants to use this acquisition to develop roofing systems as a second core business. Koramic Roofing operates thirteen clay roof tile plants in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland and Estonia.
