Castorama’s Belgian commitment under review

Kingfisher is currently reviewing its involvement in Belgium, but a decision has still to be made. The company issued this statement in denial of a press report, according to which Castorama wants to withdraw from this country as well. Here the company operates one store each under the Castorama and Casto Dépôt labels. Kingfisher calculates that closing the six Castorama stores in Germany will cost the group about £ 35 mio (€ 54 mio).
