Openings abroad

The German Metro AG discloses that it had a total of 346 DIY stores at the end of last year. They include 294 in Germany – three fewer than one year previously – and 52 abroad (two up). However, franchised stores are not included in the count. The majority of stores are run in the Praktiker marketing format.
