Coop as partner

Rewe’s central office has now confirmed that the Swiss Coop is to join Toomaxx, the DIY retailer cooperative organisation. So far this has seen the German retail chains Rewe and AVA working together with the Austrian DIY retail group Baumax. The tasks of the joint venture include developing and buying own-label products and exclusive brands, as well as importing lines from the supply markets of the Far East.
