The market share of the big DIY superstores in the Netherlands is approaching the 70 per cent mark

The large-format marketing channels are gaining more ground on the Netherlands DIY market. Their market share is expected to increase from 68 per cent in the year 2001 to just under 70 per cent this year. However, the significance of the big chains in the individual product categories turns out to be quite varied, according to a GfK survey.
