Ferroforma bucks the trend

The 15th edition of Ferroforma saw 20 536 visitors come to Bilbao from 20 to 23 October. This amounts to an increase of eleven per cent over the event held in 2000. Juan Garaiyurrebaso, chief executive of the Bilbao trade fair organisation, is pleased that Ferroforma is bucking the trend that was evident in Cologne and Chicago. A total of 1 208 companies exhibited their range of products and services in Bilbao, and over 50 per cent of these exhibitors came from abroad (from 32 different countries).
