Disposal of two DIY locations

Jumbo operates 36 DIY stores in Switzerland now that two outlets have gone to Carrefour

The Swiss Jumbo Markt AG has disposed of two DIY superstore locations to Carrefour Schweiz. This leaves the group with 36 DIY outlets. For some time now the two companies have been working in close collaboration. In October 2000 the Maus Group, to which Jumbo belongs, entered into a joint venture with Carrefour to operate the 11 Jumbo supermarkets in Switzerland.
