Germany is the largest individual market in the European Union

The UK management consultancy AMA Research estimates the size of the building materials trade in the European Union at € 110 bn. More than one quarter of this goes to Germany, which represents by far the largest individual market. The market researchers are reckoning on further moves towards rationalisation of the heavily fragmented market. They also see increased opportunities for companies to expand throughout Europe in the continuing integration of the EU.
