After sprucing up outlets in Poland and Indonesia, Asian home goods retail chain Mr. DIY has upgraded its look in Thailand. The company recently opened a 1,280 m² concept store at Seacon Square Srinagarindra in Bangkok that aims to "uplift the customers’ experience". The flagship store hosts 15,000 SKUs across six main product categories and revolves around the theme "Feel the Difference", Mr. DIY Thailand disclosed in a statement.

"A transformative retail experience has arrived in Bangkok as Mr. DIY Thailand, a leading home improvement and lifestyle retailer, has unveiled its new flagship store... The store highlights the company’s growth and shows its commitment to delivering an enhanced customer experience," the company stated.

The outlet features a 150 m² activity hub that was set up to "engage customers" and "bring community spirit to life". Among the year-wide activities that will be hosted in the space are hands-on DIY workshops, seasonal events, and creative crafting sections, the company said.

The new outlet also installed self-checkout counters and boasts spacious aisles. The company noted that the store blends "accessibility with affordability while tailoring experiences for diverse customer needs".

"Every detail of this flagship store embodies our dedication to innovation, value, and customer satisfaction."

The company aims to roll out similar stores in upscale locations in Thailand, where it currently has more than 900  stores. "Our goal is to introduce the new Mr. DIY flagship concept into more A-class malls across Thailand," Chin said.

Mr. DIY has been launching more upscale outlets since the tail-end of 2024 - seemingly to mark milestone events in specific markets - even as it continues to open stores that align with the functional and efficiency-driven layout that it has been known for. In Poland,  Mr. DIY made its market entry late last year with a maiden store that reflects Scandinavian sensitivities. Its minimalist interiors incorporate neutral tones, bright lighting, and wide aisles to create a "carefully designed environment that supports a positive shopping experience".  Mr. DIY Poland, in…
