Founded 23 years ago, the company is now investing in the modernisation of older outlets

Home Depot intends in future to allocate 15 per cent of its annual capital spending budget, currently standing at US $ 3.6 bn (€ 3.7 bn), on the modernisation of existing outlets. In comparison with stores from the early days of the company, which was founded 23 years ago, outlets of its competitors Lowe’s and Menards are cleaner, brighter and better geared to women customers.
