Decorating ranges above all have ensured a two-figure increase

The volume of the British DIY market has grown in terms of value in the twelve months to July 2002 by 10.7 per cent. According to information from researchers GfK, the biggest increases were recorded by decorating ranges, and in particular by products like paints and varnishes, brushes, floor-coverings and lighting.
