Kingfisher dismisses Castorama executive

Jean-Hugues Loyez and the Commandités A have been removed from office

Kingfisher now has the Castorama boardroom totally under control. At yesterday’s meetings of the supervisory board (conseil de gérance) and of the partners (assemblée des commandités), the five members known as the Commandités A were dismissed from office. Jean-Hugues Loyez, who is no longer chairman of the board, will be leaving the company. According to a company announcement, the executive is now officially being run by the Kingfisher subsidiary Socodi, represented by Sir Geoffrey Mulcahy.
