Baltic almost complete

Rautakesko, the building and DIY subsidiary of the Finnish Kesko Group, has signed a letter of intent for the acquisition of a majority stake in UAB Senuku Prekybos Centras (Senukai). With a net turnover of € 100 mio, this company is the market leader in the building materials and DIY trade in Lithuania. It operates large stores in Kaunas and Vilnius, a central warehouse in Kaunas, and a nationwide logistics and wholesale network. Senukai also has 52 franchise stores. Rautakesko already has a presence in the Baltic states of Estonia (3 stores) and Latvia (1). The group’s declared goal is to achieve market leadership in Scandinavia and the Baltic as well.
