Garden enthusiasts desiring to enjoy their leisure to the full and improve their quality of life in a private green paradise are being aided and abetted in many ways by the manufacturers of garden products. Their aim is to allow gardeners to enjoy their activities in the fresh air free of any stress, since the latest generation of appliances, tools and equipment is increasingly taking over a great deal of their work.
Lawn care machinery
There is a growing demand for cylinder mowers, since more and more amateur gardeners dream of having a perfect English lawn. Electric models now make it possible to achieve the “carpet” effect in your own garden.

The fact that performance is an equally pressing topic when it comes to electrically powered rotary mowers is demonstrated by robust, geared down transmission systems, which reach a torque approximately ten times that of a conventional electric mower when the engine is started up. The smooth transmission of battery-powered rotary mowers allows them to convert their potential wattage almost one hundred per cent into drive energy, which enables them to achieve the power of petrol mowers for the first time.
Low operating noise is an essential enhanced feature in petrol-driven mowers. Ecologically friendly “whispering”  mowers already meet the latest legal noise limits, even though these will not be enforced for several years yet.
Hand and powered garden tools
Now available for brushcutters and other portable garden tools are “petroil” lubricated four-stroke engines. Such units are fuelled by a mixture of petrol and oil. They are considerably lighter than conventional four-stroke engines and use a leaner mixture than comparable two-stroke engines. Motor tillers specially designed for cultivating domestic gardens are so agreeably light in weight that women gardeners too can transport and operate them without too much exertion.
Hand tools for the garden are light, sturdy and durable. Design focuses on ergonomic considerations, which results in a considerably enhanced degree of handling convenience.

Tree trimming without a ladder is made possible by telescopic handles complete with pulley mechanism. Spades and digging forks likewise come with telescopic handles, making them individually adjustable to suit the height of each user.
