Under the Color Expert brand name the Storch group already distributes
a full range of tools for painters and decorators in many countries of Europe
Meanwhile the group has its own marketing firm for Germany as well, the Color Expert Vertriebs GmbH (or CEV) of Wuppertal. This company markets an exhaustive selection of decorating tools for the following areas of application: masking, covering, protecting, surface preparation, wallpapering and flooring, as well as brushes and scrubbers, rollers and painters’ sundries. What is more, the CEV has responsibility for product assortments and the supply of goods to its affiliated companies in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Finland. A specific selection of Color Expert products complete with two different east European and Scandinavian language groupings (each covering five languages) is available for these companies, which cover the east European and Scandinavian markets. The Storch group works together with distributors in countries such as Austria, Benelux and Italy.

The Color Expert brand is oriented to all forms of retail trading, though to DIY superstores in particular. Available since January 2001 is a professionally oriented range of products specifically for builders’ merchants. Key account customers can also be supplied with private labels provided they generate a given volume of sales.
A special colour coding system has been developed for presentation at the point of sale. In conjunction with pictograms and illustrations on the packaging this allows consumers to quickly find the tools required for their purposes.
