“Parkett & Co” is the name under which Bona is offering DIY retailers a hire and sales programme for the renovation of wooden flooring. The DIYer can get everything he needs for sanding and sealing his floor: machines and equipment, filling knives and rollers, plus sealants and care products as well. Here there has been recourse to the company’s material and brand name competence from the professional field: the products have been given an independent livery, which is however designed to signal “professional equipment for the DIYer”.
The rich green livery of the products underlines their independence.
The sales and hire programme is offered in different modules. The sales programme can be set up on a space of 0.5 to 3 m2, and an area of between 1 and 3 m2 is necessary for the hire station.
Bona offers appropriate training courses to enable sales staff to provide competent advice to interested consumers. Assistance is given to the DIYer by means of detailed leaflets and material resources, videos and information on the internet.
“Parkett & Co” combines the entire programme required for renovating wooden flooring.
Bona is quite deliberately addressing the market for the renovation of wooden flooring through DIY superstores, machinery hire shops, timber and paint outlets, since it is assumed that only part of these jobs is being carried out by traditional parquet specialists. The company maintains that the contribution of DIYers themselves in this area is already estimated at over 50 per cent.
