Toilet paper holder with cleansing cream
“Po Po Sano” is the name of this novel product from Inter Proma. It is a three-component toilet paper holder, which has a lid containing a disposable dispenser bottle with 100 ml of a cleansing and care emul-sion. By pressing a button the desired amount of emulsion is dispensed straight onto the toilet paper. Also new is the “Swiss WC Clean” for hanging inside the toilet pan. This coats the pan with a film of lubricant as a result of the pressure caused by sitting down on the seat. The company claims that the WC pan has that freshly cleaned look once it has been flushed. The device is 13 cm in size and can be attached to any WC pan without the need for any drilling.

Exclusive bath fittings
Lanzet Bad intends its new “Sydney” programme of bathroom furniture to appeal to the sophisticated buying class. Rounded shapes and strongly contrasting colours characterise the programme created by furniture designer Dirk Obliers. The applewood decor can have an elegant or youthful effect according to which of the nine different paints it is combined with. Coordinated with the decor is the mir-rored cupboard with applewood appliqués and vertical strip lighting. Side cupboards can be made by putting together base and top modules.

No-glue flooring
The new, patented “Snap by Kaindl” system allows laminate flooring to be laid quickly and without glue. The system is based on the self-aligning “Snap” automatic locking device. The sheets are so tightly joined together that they will neither slip nor form cracks during the laying process, according to the manufacturer. As managing director Werner Bechtold affirms, this system is not affected by the international patent law dispute that is running at the moment.

Painting equipment for children
Pébéo has developed three ergonomic boxes holding tubes of paint and brushes for its range of products for children. A further novelty (see photo) is provided by the starter kits, “Make your own exhibition”. These kits are designed to introduce children to artistic activities. There are three versions available: with stencil, ink pad or “drawing gum”. Each kit contains in addition five 10 ml tubes of paint, two brushes, four picture frames and instructions for use.
