Decorative elements

The product assortment is divided between two brand names, Jardifer and Jardifer Déco, and four product lines. These include the Jardifer Classic programme, which consists of flower boxes together with plant pot holders of polyester-coated wire in black, white or green. Balcosystem kits are made up of plastic flower boxes of different sizes with the appropriate fixing system.
The Babylon programme of decorative stands in three different models for cacti, mini plants and herbs is part of the Jardifer Déco range, as is a Christmas tree stand in two sizes. Also included in the range are the Eolia weather vanes in a choice of seven models.
The company offers retailers various solutions for presenting its pre-packed assortment. These range from pallet presentations to wooden furnishings at the other end of the spectrum.
Founded in 1972, at first the company specialised in manufacturing wood and cork products for florists. Volume distribution then began about ten years later. In the early nineties Sofradecor, based at Varennes Vauzelles, moved into the export business. Today it runs sales companies in Spain, Germany, Benelux and Canada, though it exports to as far away as Japan.
Continuous growth led to setting up a second production plant in 1998, and the year 2000 saw the inauguration of the third manufacturing facility.
