What customers think about sales staff and their competence in questions of paint

German customers prefer to get the necessary information from the sales staff in DIY stores when they want to know more about paint. Customers in France, too, consider the advice given in DIY superstores to be of a high standard. British DIYers are much more critical: nearly one-fifth of those involved in a survey undertaken by the Paint Quality Institute declared that they never asked for advice from sales staff in DIY stores. What customers think about the competence of the sales staff is now evident as the result of further evaluation of the survey. This reveals that one-fifth consider them to be very well informed. Almost exactly the same number, though, are of the opinion that they are neither well informed nor poorly informed. The results in detail:
