DIY stores and garden centres are now also closed in Switzerland. As from yesterday, the Swiss Federal Council has ordered the closure of retail shops if they do not offer food or essential items.

As announced, DIY stores in Austria are remaining closed. Open, on the other hand, are the Lagerhaus home and garden stores, however with a limited assortment. Food and drink are still being sold there, together with regional and farming products, cleaning agents and disinfectants, as well as household articles, heating and other fuels, agricultural requirements and animal husbandry requirements as well as pet food.
