The CWS Group acquires Vendor

The CWS Group is acquiring washroom solution provider Vendor from the private equity firm Egeria. The companes signed a purchase agreement on 9 August, according to CWS. Subject to approval by the competition authority, the deal is expected to be closed at the start of September. No financial details of the acquisition have been disclosed, following which Vendor will gradually be integrated into the CWS Group.

The CWS Group is itself active as a supplier of systems for the hygiene, floor care, workwear, fire safety, clean room and health care spheres. Vendor, which has branches in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, generated sales totalling around EUR 40 million in 2018, according to one press report.
