BackSwiss DIY stores and garden centres to reopen from 27 April
DIY stores, garden centres, flower shops and plant nurseries will be permitted to reopen in Switzerland from next Monday, 27 April. This was decided along with other measures to ease the coronavirus lockdown by the Swiss government, the Federal Council, at its meeting on 16 April. The loosening of the lockdown will be accompanied by protective measures, which may include a recommendation or obligation to wear face masks, depending on the sector of the economy.
The government has also announced that restrictions on the ranges in food stores will be lifted from 27 April. If daily essentials and other goods are available in the stores, they may be sold without restrictions.
