Silvan opens further inner-city store

"Silvan has great success with its City-building markets, but we have lacked an opportunity to be close to the thousands of customers who live in Frederiksberg," says Dorthe Bagge Bloch, who is retail director at Silvan.

The Danish DIY store chain Silvan has opened an additional city store in the Greater Copenhagen area. Following Fisketorvet and Nørrebro, it is the third small-sized store in the capital. The retail space amounts to 1 000 m². According to an announcement from the company, the product range is geared towards the catchment area. For example, there is a focus on equipment for balconies and patios as well as smaller gas grills and furniture. In a statement, Dorthe Bagge Bloch, chief executive officer of retail at Silvan, says that the existing Copenhagen city stores are very successful.
